Mahindra TEQO wins GOLD at the Mahindra Innovation awards 2020

Team TEQO, including members Kapil Panwar, Aditya Jindal, and Sharath Mohan, bagged the gold for their project ‘Generation enhancement using Data Science’, in the process category. They used Deep Learning and Machine Learning to ideate efficient ways to prioritise cleaning of modules at plants. Their global model can be deployed at any PV solar site and supports water, dry and robotic cleaning.

75 Years of Mahindra

It was the November of 1945. An advertisement appeared in the Times of India, Mahindra & Mahindra’s very first, after we launched as a business firm on 2 October 1945. Back then, advertisements would promote a product or service only. This one was different; it highlighted the company’s purpose and principles. Principles that still hold true for the company – the encouragement of private enterprise and the initiative of the individual; belief in the ability of corporate institutions to oppose anti-social trends, such as monopolies and cartels; respect for dignity of the individual; ability as the sole test of merit and advancement.

2 October 2020 marked the start of the 75^th year of Mahindra’s existence, and as the year continues through 2021, we’re engaging in several initiatives all year round. One such initiative is MySeva – recognising individual acts of kindness in the spirit of service. The portal was launched in the current, 75^th year of Mahindra, and provides an opportunity to all Mahindra employees, to undertake and report Individual Acts of Goodness. As part of this initiative, we’ve pledged to collectively devote 7,50,000 employee hours to volunteering in our 75^th year.
