Mahindra Marine, the only Corporate FRP Boatyard, offers FRP boat building services to recreational, defence and commercial segments in India, through its brand Mahindra Odyssea.

They have in-house capabilities to build moulds, work on appropriate FRP material and work technologies, actively pursued indigenisation and frugally accomplished design adaptation capabilities for varied applications and variants.

Mahindra Marine was established in 2008 to enable the Group to accomplish one of its vision in the core business domain of mobility viz.

To become a “Full line mobility solution provider” straddling across all 3 platforms namely, Automobiles/2W, Aerospace & Water. It has ingrained the Mahindra Rise philosophy of Alternate thinking, Driving positive change and Accepting no Limits since inception in its core business model, thereby becoming a leader in the FRP segment in the country in a short span of time. It is a great example of ‘Make in India’. We believe that as India’s vision of using the waterways and the 8000km coastline to create multi-modal transport succeeds, Mahindra Marine will play an important part in this journey.

Mahindra Marine, was started out with only a vision, and no internal capability. From building its first boat in China, to its present avatar of designing and building a complex range of vessels for the Navy and Coastguard, this company developed its skills completely indigenously, with no technical collaboration.
